Help Center

How can we help?

Most answers are right here, and most fixes you can do yourself in a minute. Still stuck? Email us and a real person will get back to you.

Account & sign-in

How do I create a free account?

An account is required for all study content. The free tier includes starter drills, labs, Master Terms, IPv4, DNS and DHCP modules, prompt packs, study tools, and free Intel posts. Paid membership includes everything. Go to Create Account, enter your email and a password (6+ characters), or use Continue with Google. If you sign up with email, confirm the link we send before signing in.

I forgot my password.

On the Sign In page, type your email and tap Forgot your password?. We email a reset link; open it on the same device and choose a new password. Links expire, so request a fresh one if it says invalid. Signed up with Google? Use Continue with Google instead; there's no separate password.

I never got the confirmation or reset email.

Check spam and promotions, and search your inbox for "BB Tech Tools". Wait a few minutes, then request it again once. Still nothing? Email support from the address you signed up with.

Can I change my email address?

Sign in and open Manage Account. Enter your new address under Email and select Update Email, then follow the confirmation messages. If you cannot access your current address, contact support.

Membership & billing

What do I get with a paid membership?

Every paid tier unlocks the full library: all drill banks, every PBQ-style simulation, Clearances, Core Learning, field manuals, and the AI study tools. See plans and pricing.

How do I cancel, update my card, or get a receipt?

Sign in and open Manage Account, then Manage subscription. That opens our secure billing portal (Stripe), where you can cancel, change your card, switch plans, and download invoices yourself, any time.

When does cancelling take effect?

You keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.

Can I get a refund?

Email support with the email on your account and what happened. A person reviews every refund request.

I paid but I'm still locked out.

Sign out and back in with the same email you used at checkout, then refresh the page. Access usually updates within a minute of payment. If it still doesn't unlock, email support with your receipt.

Labs, drills & lessons

A lab won't load or looks broken.

Refresh the page first, then try a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari. Turn off ad or script blockers for bbtechtools.com, since labs run in your browser. Still stuck? Email support with the lab name and a screenshot.

Does my progress save?

Progress and scores save in your browser. Open Members HQ while signed in to sync recorded progress with your account, then open HQ on another device to load it there. Sync needs a connection; if it is unavailable, progress stays in that browser. Visit HQ before switching devices or clearing browser data.

Is anything here from the real exam?

No. Every question, scenario, and simulation is written from scratch against the published CompTIA objectives. No dumps, no leaked questions.

Which exams do you cover?

A+ Core 1 (220-1201), A+ Core 2 (220-1202), Network+ (N10-009), Security+ (SY0-701), and CySA+ (CS0-004).

Privacy & data

How do I delete my account and data?

Email support from the email on your account and ask for deletion. We'll cancel any active membership and confirm once your account and data are removed.

What do you collect?

The basics to run your account and membership. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Still need help?

Email support@bbtechtools.com from the address on your account. Include the page or lab name and a screenshot if something looks wrong; it gets you a faster fix.
